In the "I want to associate EPDs" mode of the Vizcab add-in for Excel, the "Do not overwrite existing data" option offers significant flexibility for users managing spreadsheets with pre-existing EPD associations.

Functionalities

The "Do not overwrite existing data" option allows users to retain the EPD IDs already associated with their products in Excel, even when analyzing new product descriptions. This function is crucial for projects where specific products have already been evaluated, and existing associations should not be altered.

In this case, the Vizcab add-in will fill the EPD ID in the corresponding column only if the cell is empty (and therefore without predefined EPDs).

How to Activate the Option

To use this feature in the Vizcab add-in:
